Break the Mold CEO: Do Your Big ONE
The other day I posted on Facebook, “break the mold, CEO, go do your big one.” And today, as I read in the word intently, the Lord had me read Cornelius and Peter’s story.
Societal perceptions will keep you in a box. As people of God, we have to be willing to live outside of societal perceptions and follow the way of the Lord even though it may not look appealing outwardly. It may not feel good outwardly. It may just look outright awkward or unseen or unheard of. But nevertheless, we have to break the mold.
Peter was willing to break the mold and do as God told him to do with speaking a message to Cornelius that ultimately grafted the Gentiles into salvation, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit as evidence. Anytime we’re following God and doing his will, there will be evidence of the fruit. Peter’s evidence was that the Gentiles were filled with the Holy Spirit as a result of him being obedient to break the mold and go against old societal perceptions.
Even as you continue to read in the story, you’ll see that some of the Jews contended with Peter. Although there was evidence, some of the Jews contended with Peter being obedient to preach to those Gentiles and allow Cornelius to come visit him. So keep breaking the mold and do your big one with God. People’s perceptions are their perceptions. But as long as you are following the Lord, all things will be well.
The word says in Proverbs 15:22: Without counsel, plans go awry, but in the multitude of counselors, they are established.
And Proverbs 16:9 says: A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.
Stay encouraged.

Good Morning ☀️
This message was well needed. As someone who was once caught up in what’s happening around me and wanted to be justified by the world’s opinion, I am now allowing God to break those strongholds. I trust that my vision is not for the world, but for God Himself. 🙏🏽
